Side Effects From Clinique "moisturiser"

I recently started using the Clinique Moisture Surge 100H Auto-Replenishing Hydrator, which was given to me as a gift and purchased from Macy's. After the second application on the second day of use, the skin all over my chin and bottom jaw began to sting and burn immediately on contact with the product. Following this, the area broke out in bumps, became very red, and the skin started flaking. This reaction has been ongoing for three days and has been quite uncomfortable, so I stopped using the product. I have not yet sought medical help, but I am very concerned that a product marketed as a moisturizer has caused such a strong irritation on my skin. I kindly request that Clinique provide a replacement with an alternative product that would be suitable for my skin and not cause this type of reaction. I also expect that this complaint will be taken seriously and that the product will be reviewed in case there is a formulation or batch issue that could affect other customers as well.
