Citroen Ami Car Replacement Part Shortage
On March 4, 2024, I experienced a mishap with my Citroen Ami. The next day, I took the vehicle to Kartal Öztek Citroen for repairs. It took a whole month to complete the insurance process, but finally, in early April, Aksigorta gave the green light for the repair and ordered the required parts, despite the extensive damage.
Since April, I have been patiently waiting for Citroen Türkiye to acquire these parts. No timelines have been given, and Ms. D****, the damage specialist at Öztek Citroen, has raised concerns about the possibility of needing extra parts during the repair. This would cause additional delays in the repair process and result in higher expenses.
I've been feeling so unsure for months now. I want to let you know that if this matter is not resolved quickly, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action. Although I acknowledge that resolving this issue may take time, it is crucial for the company to address our financial and emotional distress.
Update: After June 5th, a replacement vehicle was provided, but the part still did not arrive for a long time. The part arrived on June 25th. However, it is still at the service center. Citroen Kartal Öztek Dealership said the repair would take another 10 days. In this case, even the repair period itself is almost 1 month at best. On top of that, they asked me to return the replacement vehicle as soon as the part arrived at the service center. They said your file was closed. I couldn't understand how and why the file was closed when I haven't received my car yet. Today, I contacted Citroen Turkey again and requested a replacement vehicle during this waiting period. There is a constant problem. We are being made to wait because the part is not arriving, and when the part arrives, we are waiting for the service.

The vehicle in question is an Ami. If even this takes a month to repair, I can't imagine the time for larger vehicles. Honestly, I am curious about what has been done in the past two weeks.
