Chevrolet Rezzo Parts Order Delayed and Refund Refused
I ordered an air conditioning compressor and radiator for my Chevrolet Rezzo from a company located in Ankara Etimesgut. They told me that the products were in stock and pressured me to make the purchase quickly, so I sent my nephew to pick them up and paid a total of approximately $351. Of this amount, approximately $279 was for the air conditioning compressor. About 10 days later, only the air conditioning compressor was delivered, while the radiator never arrived.
When I asked when the radiator would be shipped, they repeatedly delayed me by saying “today” or “tomorrow” and did not provide a definite date for approximately 15 days. They initially told me the radiator would cost approximately $72, but later said they could provide it for approximately $52. Fortunately, because I had written correspondence as evidence, they eventually refunded the $72 to me. However, what was important to me was purchasing the radiator and air conditioning compressor as a set and having both replaced at the same time, which the mechanics had also told me was necessary. The company did not take this into consideration.
For this reason, I returned the product, but this time they refused to take responsibility, saying, “We sold this to you, so we cannot take it back.” I was extremely frustrated both by initially being told that the product was in stock and then being repeatedly told that they were “trying to find it” and that it would arrive, and by the extremely disrespectful and dismissive manner used when speaking to me on the phone.
I request a full refund of the amount I paid and a proper investigation into the inconvenience I experienced throughout this process. I also request that the company be appropriately warned so that similar situations do not happen to other customers.
