Character.ai Faces Outrage Over New Reading System and Age Restriction Update

I am extremely dissatisfied with the reading system and age restriction feature introduced today in the Character.ai application. Because of this system, I am no longer able to message the characters I want freely, nor can I use the application as I used to.

While the core premise of the application is to chat with chosen characters, these new reading system and age restriction features block conversations, rendering the app meaningless to me. Even though I am not using a paid subscription package, such a highly restrictive policy completely destroys the user experience.

I demand that Character.ai management either completely remove this reading system and age restriction policy or revise it in a manner that does not impose such severe limitations on users.
