Carjet Charges My Card Then Vanishes at Skopje Airport

I found a car rental company called Carjet through a Google search and made a booking under my own name to rent a car from Skopje Airport. On May 26, 2026, I reserved a car for 7 days, and roughly $87 was charged to my card as a deposit/rental fee. A reservation number, 209634794, appeared on the site for this transaction, but I never received any confirmation email whatsoever.
On May 28, at 10:00 AM, I went to Skopje Airport to pick up the vehicle. But at the airport, I couldn't find any Carjet office, staff, signage, or point of contact whatsoever. I wandered around the airport until about 12:00 PM trying to reach the company, but it became clear there was no actual company present at all. To avoid being left without a car, I was forced to rent a vehicle from a different company at the airport instead, and I have no complaint about the fee I paid for that second rental.
When I later checked my bank account, I clearly saw that Carjet had charged $87 to my card on the 26th. But there's no vehicle, no office, and no point of contact anywhere. I haven't yet had an official conversation with either Carjet or my bank about this transaction, but I consider this charge unjust, and I believe I've been wronged.
I'm requesting that an investigation be conducted into how Carjet carried out this transaction, that the wrongfully charged amount of $87 be refunded to my card as soon as possible, and that a proper investigation be carried out regarding those responsible.
