CamScanner Charges $49.99 Fee With No Cancelable Subscription Record on iPhone
Regarding the CamScanner application I use on my iPhone, I noticed on August 10, 2026, that a charge of $49.99 was processed from my account under the merchant name "Google CamScanner." I did not authorize this payment, and no active CamScanner subscription appears under my Apple ID Subscriptions section on my iPhone.
This transaction was processed from my ABB Bank card without my permission. Even though I attempted to cancel the subscription through the app, I cannot locate any active membership to cancel, meaning I have been billed for a subscription that does not officially show up anywhere in my settings.
Therefore, I demand a full refund of the $49.99 payment processed under "Google CamScanner." Furthermore, I request that no future charges be made to my card for this or any related service, and that any linked subscription be completely canceled. I ask that this issue be investigated, that I be updated on the status, and that my financial loss be fully reimbursed.
