I took delivery of my BYD Atto 3 from the Ankara BYD Efe Kar dealership on May 26. From the very first day, both the front and rear cameras showed only a black screen. Initially, the issue occurred intermittently, but about a week later, it became permanent, and the cameras stopped displaying any image at all.

Since I live in Eskişehir and couldn’t immediately travel to Ankara, I tried to reach my sales consultant, but he didn’t answer my calls for several days. Later, due to a minor accident, I was finally able to take the car to the service center about a month later. There, they told me that the camera malfunction was not covered under warranty, claiming it was caused by the accident. However, this issue had already existed long before the accident — from the day I received the car.

Refusing to treat the camera problem as a warranty issue and failing to provide proper support has caused me serious inconvenience. It is unacceptable for BYD to ignore a manufacturing defect and refuse service assistance. I request that the camera system be repaired free of charge under warranty.

My vehicle license plate number is 26 ALL 497.
