BYD Atto 3 Remote Access Not Activated Since June and No OTA Updates
I own a 2023 BYD Atto 3, and since 18 June 2025, the remote access feature has not been activated despite a SIM card being installed at the Diyarbakır Kardelen dealership. This issue has persisted for nearly two months. My car is still running on the initial software version, and because the version cannot be upgraded, I am unable to receive any OTA updates.
I have repeatedly returned to the same dealership, but they only tell me they have contacted the service center and are “waiting for a response.” Weeks have passed with no update. Additionally, I have contacted the BYD communication center at least 7–8 times via email and 3–4 times by phone, yet I have not received any reply at all. My license plate number is 21 AFE 134, and all transactions related to my vehicle have been handled at Diyarbakır Kardelen.
I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of after-sales service and the inadequate support from both the dealer and the brand. The problems I am facing are relatively simple to resolve, but my inconvenience has been unnecessarily prolonged.
I demand that these issues be resolved immediately and that both the remote access feature and software update process be completed without any further delay. I expect BYD to take responsibility and provide a proper customer experience.
