BYD Atto 3 Gets Far Less Range Than Advertised
I have been experiencing a serious range problem with my BYD Atto 3 since the beginning. Although the vehicle is advertised with a range of 420 km (261 miles), in real-world use I can drive only about 220 km (137 miles) at most. This has caused major inconvenience in both daily driving and long-distance travel.
Even though the vehicle is still very new, I keep facing the same problem. My trip from Istanbul to Sivas turned into an extremely frustrating experience because I constantly had to stop and worry about charging. As a result, I was unable to follow the travel plans I had made before the trip. There is a major gap between what I expected from the vehicle and its actual performance.
I contacted the dealership about the issue and was told that they would get back to me after the holiday, but so far no concrete solution has been provided. I simply want to use the driving range that was promised for this vehicle, and I am experiencing serious inconvenience because of this issue.
I request that the vehicle's range problem be thoroughly inspected. If there is a software or hardware defect, I expect BYD to identify it and perform the necessary repairs or updates. If needed, I also request comprehensive road tests to determine the vehicle's actual real-world range and a fair resolution for the inconvenience I have experienced.
