Budget Hungary Charged Twice and Provided Lower Class Car Than Booked Through Booking.com
I rented a car from Budget Hungary via Booking.com for my trip to Budapest from June 5 to June 10, 2024, paying online in advance and adding extra insurance for damage protection. When I arrived at the Budget location at Ferenc Liszt International Airport on June 5, 2024, the staff insisted on speaking Hungarian, refusing to communicate in English, which made the process difficult. Despite my booking and payment, they gave me a lower-class vehicle instead of the car I had reserved. Worse, they charged me twice for the security deposit. While one of the charges was refunded when I returned the car, the second charge has yet to be returned. Budget Hungary's staff is unfairly profiting from this situation. I demand immediate action to resolve this and refund the second charge!
