Brussels Airlines Compensation Request Due To A Delay

I am writing to request compensation pursuant to EC Regulation No. 261/2004 in relation to my recent journey from Brussels to Naples under a single booking (booking reference Z89SD7), which included flight SN3181 on 01/04/2026. Due to the delay of the initial flight segment, I missed my scheduled connecting flight and was rebooked by Brussels Airlines onto an alternative itinerary later in the evening. As a result, I reached my final destination in Naples with a delay exceeding four hours compared to the originally scheduled arrival time, arriving at 22:50 instead of the scheduled 18:50. In line with established European case law, which provides that passengers are entitled to compensation when they arrive at their final destination with a delay of three hours or more, I kindly request payment of the fixed compensation amount of EUR 250 applicable to flights within 1500 km under EC Regulation No. 261/2004.
