Bosch Refrigerator Smells Bad Despite Paid Cleaning

In the summer of 2023, we purchased a Bosch brand refrigerator, and shortly after starting to use it, odor issues began to occur. Despite our frequent communications via social media and phone calls, the company's call center stated—albeit politely—that if there is no cooling problem, there cannot be an odor issue. Although we repeatedly stated that we had used a refrigerator from another brand for approximately 25 years without any such problem and that the issue clearly originated from the refrigerator itself, the company insisted that the smell was caused by improperly stored or spilled items inside the fridge. The company's technical service placed a device inside the refrigerator to measure the cooling performance and confirmed the presence of the odor during their inspection. Eventually, we were told that Bosch offers a chemical cleaning product for this issue and were advised to use it regularly. We were charged ₺500 for this cleaner. Despite cleaning the refrigerator as instructed, the odor returned shortly thereafter. This situation, and Bosch’s indifference to the problem, which does not align with the company’s slogan, has caused significant inconvenience and disappointment for me and my family. Given that we paid a premium price for this product and that the warranty period is still ongoing, I hereby request a full refund. I kindly ask for your assistance in resolving this issue, which the company has failed to address adequately, and to take the necessary steps to ensure our consumer rights are protected.
