BMW 216d Gran Tourer Roof Curtain Sagging

My 2015 BMW 216d Gran Tourer has recently developed an unexpected problem that I must address. The sunshade that was attached to the right side of the roof has become detached and has begun to sag on its own. It surprised me to learn that it couldn't be reattached and that it had to be replaced entirely. After doing more research, I discovered that other people who have used the sunshade have had problems that are very similar to mine. It is disheartening to see that this problem continues to occur with BMW vehicles. I've contacted BMW in the hopes of quickly resolving this issue and putting an end to this inconvenience.
