Locked Out of My Bitay Account

My sell transactions were locked for two days at a cryptocurrency exchange, and when I asked for them to be unlocked, they kept giving me the same reason. Because of what they did, the value of the things I had invested in went down. When I asked if they would make up for this loss, all they said was that I should put in a request. Also, when I suggested that we take the problem to a higher authority who could solve it, they refused to transfer me and instead just opened a request without any follow-up. I'd like to ask them to either turn my coins into cash so I can leave their platform or unlock my transactions so I can sell and leave. I don't want to work with a platform that doesn't respond and doesn't help, like them.
