I recently bought a pair of Birkenstock shoes for ₺4500, expecting high quality and durability. However, shortly after purchase, I noticed the leather on the side of one shoe had warped and wouldn’t straighten out. When I took the shoes back to the store, I was told, “Yes, this happens—there’s nothing we can do.” I expressed that this level of wear so soon after purchase seemed unacceptable, especially for a product marketed for its comfort and quality. Instead of help, I was met with an odd response suggesting that perhaps driving in the shoes caused the issue.
I expected Birkenstock to stand behind their products, but so far, no solution has been offered. It’s disappointing to see a brand known for comfort and quality fall short on both product durability and customer support. I am requesting a proper resolution for this defect.
