Bigolive Failed to Protect Users From Threats and Arbitrary Account Bans
I believe that accounts on BIGO TV are being unfairly banned even though no rules have been violated, and that these bans are being applied arbitrarily. In particular, I want to state that a person named “S***” is allegedly causing accounts to be banned without any valid reason, and as a result, I am unable to access my own account.
I am also seriously disturbed by the fact that some people using management badges have threatened me and shared phone numbers. This situation has become a major concern for me in terms of both safety and privacy. Because of these threats and arbitrary bans, I no longer feel able to use the platform securely.
I expect BIGO to investigate this situation in detail, take the necessary action against the people who threatened me and caused accounts to be banned unfairly, and provide a safe environment for users.
Progress
In the Bigo app, my account under the username “didimikk” was banned on August 6, 2025 without any clear reason being given. I only receive a generic statement like “account” indicating that the account has been closed, but no clear and understandable explanation of which rule I violated.
I have spent about 4.58k on this account and there was a balance/quota of roughly 8.34K in my account. Being denied access to an account into which I have invested so much effort, time, and a substantial amount of money without any concrete justification is causing me hardship. Whenever I contact the support team, I am sent the same generic message each time, with no detailed explanation or solution offered. I also experience blocking issues when I try to log in with other accounts.
From Bigo, I first request that the reason for the restriction of my “didimikk” account be communicated to me clearly and explicitly, and, if possible, that my account be reactivated. If reopening the account is not feasible, I want the grievance regarding the funds I deposited and the balance in my account to be resolved and this issue clarified.
