beIN Sports Did Not Honor the Membership Price Agreed by Phone
Today, I contacted beIN Sports to cancel my subscription. After the cancellation process was initiated, I was contacted again regarding a new membership offer. During that conversation, I reached an agreement with the customer representative on a specific monthly price, and we agreed to freeze my subscription for one month under those terms.
Later the same day, I called again to reactivate my subscription. I first spoke with a representative named F**, who began processing my request. She informed me that the frozen package had to be reactivated before any further changes could be made, and I gave my approval to proceed.
She then placed me on hold again. I remained on the line for approximately 10 to 12 minutes without receiving any updates. Shortly afterward, I received a text message stating that the call had ended due to a technical issue and that I could continue the process through the online self-service portal.
I called customer service again, expecting the previously agreed terms to be honored. Instead, I was quoted a price that was 39 TL higher than the amount we had already agreed upon. It appeared as though there was no record of our earlier conversation, and the representatives acted as if no such agreement had ever been made. The lack of communication between customer service representatives and the inconsistent handling of my request caused unnecessary inconvenience and frustration.
I respectfully request that beIN Sports honor the subscription price originally agreed upon during my first phone conversation, reactivate my membership at that agreed price, and investigate both the technical interruption and the inconsistent information provided by customer service. I also request a written response explaining the outcome of the investigation and the steps taken to resolve my complaint.
