Bauhaus Refused to Accept My Return Because I Didn’t Have the Box

I bought two bedside wall lamps from Bauhaus, but since they didn’t match my room’s decor, I wanted to return them. Even though I brought the products back unused and in perfect condition, the store refused to accept the return, saying that they cannot take items back without the original packaging.
I honestly don’t understand this policy — are we expected to store every single shipping box at home? Not everyone has space for that. I returned the items on the same day, completely clean and undamaged, yet I was told, “We can’t accept returns without the box,” leaving me frustrated and disappointed.
I’m not even asking for a refund — I just want Bauhaus to take the products back. Such a rigid and customer-unfriendly approach is truly disappointing for a brand like Bauhaus. I request that this issue be resolved appropriately and that customer satisfaction be given priority.
