Barbour Coat Looks Identical To Cheap Mango Copies Despite High Price

About three years ago, I bought a coat for ₺28,000 because of my trust in the Barbour brand and its quality, and my family and I have been choosing Barbour for years because we believe it is a brand with a unique style and a certain level of luxury that is not readily available to everyone; however, today I am deeply disturbed to see almost identical coats from brands like Mango and Concept for as little as ₺4,000, even though I paid ₺20,000–₺28,000. The products I examine in stores are virtually identical in appearance and feel, and it is hard to tell them apart until you actually touch them, which has seriously damaged both the price I paid for the brand and Barbour’s “special, high-quality, and exclusive” image. As a long-time consumer, I am deeply disappointed to see such similar products on sale, and I expect a brand like Barbour, which claims to be established and high-quality, to take the necessary legal and commercial measures to prevent its designs from appearing in such similar forms at significantly lower prices. If your products are registered, I struggle to understand how so many similar designs can circulate freely in the market. As a consumer paying such a high price for the brand, I demand that the brand protect its products and image, demonstrating its claims of quality and exclusivity, and I expect Barbour to take steps to prevent its designs from being compared to such cheap, similar products and, if necessary, take action to have these products removed from the market. I also demand a clear statement and response that will reinforce the brand’s image among its loyal customers.
