AXA Insurance Breaches Auto Policy Agreement
As a customer of Groupama Insurance, I purchased the 'Comprehensive Super Car Insurance Policy' for my vehicle with license plate 06 f***91 through agency number 182027 on February 23, 2023. Later, on September 06, 2023, due to a vehicle change, I obtained endorsement number 79269/1 for my new vehicle with license plate 06 d***81, also through agency number 182027. My policy includes coverage for a new vehicle as it is brand new.
However, after Groupama was acquired by Axa, I was forced to renew my policy with Axa to maintain the coverage for a new vehicle. While Groupama's policy stipulates specific conditions for considering a vehicle as a total loss, Axa's renewal policy complicates the likelihood of a vehicle being declared a total loss by imposing stricter criteria. Additionally, while the original policy promised compensation based on the vehicle's invoice price in the event of a total loss, the renewal policy shifts to compensating based on the vehicle's market value at the time of the loss.
Dear Axa Insurance representatives, by acquiring Groupama Insurance, you have inherited all of its obligations, debts, and receivables. It is a legal obligation to maintain the coverage provided to me by Groupama in my insurance policy. When I attempt to address the discrepancies between the two policies with your customer service, I am redirected to my agency without receiving proper assistance. Despite verbal assurances from your representatives, no concrete steps have been taken to align the coverage terms with my previous policy.
Since when does the word of insurance companies serve as a contract? We are both parties to the insurance policy; why are verbal assurances not reflected in the written policy? I do not want someone to tell me to contact my agency; I demand to be contacted by an authorized representative with decision-making authority to address my concerns and provide clarification.

Unfortunately, just as I suspected, someone who is uninformed and unauthorized called and kept telling me to contact your agency. I know there won't be a solution, but what they did has been confirmed here. In summary, they are saying "take it or leave it"... I will have to cancel the policy and look at other companies.
