Asurion Pushes Deceptive Insurance, Won't Cover Smartphone Cancellation Hassle

We swung by ATT to snag a new smartphone, and the salesperson was all about this insurance plan. They were like, "You gotta get it! Covers everything from your phone to other gadgets in your crib!" They wouldn't stop talking about it, and TBH, we were itching to jet. But then, we get this email, and guess what? Turns out, the plan doesn't even cover smartphones! Can you believe the nerve? So, we try to cancel it but it was a whole thing. We ring them up to cancel, thinking it'd be a quick fix, but oh boy, kept getting bounced around from one rep to the next, and before we know it, we've burned over an hour just trying to cancel this mess of a policy. what a drag! We just wanted to wrap this up, but it felt like we were stuck in a loop. hoping we can finally put an end to this and get on with our lives, never set foot there again!
