I bought a pair of Asics Gel Challenger 14 tennis shoes, and after using them for just five months, both the right and left inner linings developed tears. The damage started small but grew quickly with regular play. I sent the shoes back to the seller, who forwarded them to Asics for inspection—but Asics rejected the refund or replacement.
When I called Asics to follow up, they asked me for a form number, which even the seller didn’t have. I also contacted Hepsiburada, where I purchased the shoes, and they too said they had no such form number. I relayed this to Asics customer service, but instead of helping, they mocked me over the phone.
Despite having both the invoice and the inspection report, Asics still refused to take responsibility. Their attitude toward customers is disgraceful. There’s no warranty support, no accountability—just excuses. I’m honestly shocked at how a global brand like Asics can offer such poor product quality and even worse customer service.
You should be ashamed of how you treat your customers in Turkey. I hope the relevant authorities reconsider your license to operate here. If a company can't back its product, it shouldn’t be selling it—especially not at premium prices.
From Asics' response, we will get back to you. More than 20 days have passed and no one from Asics has responded. Just writing here and saying we are investigating does not constitute service and warranty processing. Now 7 months have passed, a larger hole has formed in the inner lining of the shoe, and there is deformation in the insole, plus tears/deformation have started to grow in the outer material of the shoe. Asics, take a good look at the photo I took; as the manufacturer, you have used a defective inner lining, and in the inspection report, you stated that it was not due to you, meaning you are passing the buck to the consumer. I will tell Asics this: the reasons it is due to you are one, a manufacturing defect, two, using defective material, and three, using low-quality material. Contact me, apologize, refund the money I paid, and do not waste my time.
