I Face Durability Issue with Asics Gel-Nimbus 26 Women’s Running Shoes After 10 Days
Dear Asics,
On 27/03/2025, I purchased three pairs of Asics shoes: the Gel-Nimbus 26 Women’s Beige Running Shoes from Maltepe Hilltown Intersport, plus one pair of men’s walking shoes and one pair of women’s tennis shoes directly from the Hilltown Asics store.
The problem arose with the Gel-Nimbus 26 Women’s Running Shoes after only about 10 days of light use. A hole appeared on the right shoe at the point where the inner plastic ends on the upper front section. Once the damage appeared, I immediately stopped wearing the shoes. On 02/07/2025, I returned the shoes to the Intersport store for inspection.
The result of the inspection shocked me. The report claimed the damage was due to “external factors,” essentially blaming the user. However, there are no signs of scuffing, tearing, or misuse. These shoes were never used for football, intense running, or any activity that could cause such rapid wear. For a premium brand like Asics, seeing such damage after just 10 days of normal wear is extremely disappointing.
My invoice number is NEP2025000900719 and the inspection request number is INT16763. I strongly reject the claim that this is user-related damage. I expect either a replacement pair or a full refund. As a loyal customer who trusted Asics for quality and durability, I am asking for this issue to be resolved quickly and fairly.
