ASICS Novablast Shoes Torn After Few Months

On December 21, 2025, I purchased ASICS Novablast running shoes from the ASICS İstinyePark İzmir store. After approximately 3–4 months of normal running and daily use, a tear developed on the upper part of the shoe. Due to this issue, I submitted the product for inspection through the store on April 15, 2026.
After the inspection, I was informed that my model is now considered “outdated,” and if I wanted a replacement, I would need to pay nearly double the price I originally paid. They offered to deduct the value of my current shoes from the new purchase, which essentially means I would have to pay again for the same product after only a few months of use. I do not find this approach fair.
Additionally, the possibility of facing the same issue again and being required to pay another high amount makes me feel insecure as a consumer. For a product that failed in such a short time, I believe this is not user error but rather a product or manufacturing defect.
Instead of being forced into paying a price difference for a new model, I request a full refund of the amount I originally paid. I ask that my issue be resolved in a fair and customer-oriented manner.
