ASICS GEL-Nimbus 27 Shoes Tear at Heel and Flex Points Within 6 Months

I purchased a pair of ASICS GEL-Nimbus 27 running shoes (Product Code: 1011B958-001) from the ASICS Moi Partner Store in Istanbul on July 15, 2025. After approximately six months of use, the shoes developed openings at natural flex points and tears in the inner heel lining, so I sent them in for inspection on March 19, 2026. Despite being used in accordance with all usage guidelines—without stepping on the heel and under normal running conditions—these defects still occurred.
Following the inspection, I received a rejection on March 26, 2026, under form number 1-32627, stating “user error.” However, I believe that the tearing in the inner heel lining—especially in a high-performance running shoe in this segment—is not normal wear and tear within such a short time, but rather a material or durability-related issue. Experiencing this type of damage in less than a year with a premium product like the GEL-Nimbus series has not met my expectations in terms of quality and durability.
I find the inspection process to be insufficient and superficial, and I do not accept the rejection decision. I request that my product be re-evaluated thoroughly by a specialized technical team within ASICS. If the issue is determined to be related to manufacturing or materials, I ask that it be treated as a defective product and replaced accordingly.
I kindly request that my claim be reconsidered and that a solution prioritizing customer satisfaction be provided.
