Asics Nimbus-26 Shoe Developed a Hole After 5 Months, Warranty Claim Rejected
I purchased the Asics Nimbus-26 shoes and was shocked when the left shoe developed a hole after only five months of use. I bought the shoes from Boyner, so I sent them for inspection through the store. I included detailed information about my usage, as I am an amateur runner, and even provided data from the Asics app to validate proper use.
After 10 days, I received a rejection notice stating that there was “no production defect.” Customer service offered no clear explanation, only repeating, “No manufacturing defect was found” and even suggesting I might have chosen the wrong size. This is absurd, as the photos show no signs of improper fit or deformation.
I also reviewed complaints on consumer platforms and found 32 other grievances about the Nimbus-26 series, many citing the same issue: holes developing in the upper material. Examples include:
Complaint on September 4th
Complaint on August 30th
Complaint on August 24th
Complaint on August 6th
It’s clear that the Nimbus-26 series has a chronic quality issue with its upper material tearing prematurely. For a product priced between ₺6000-₺8000 and marketed to semi-professional runners, this is unacceptable. Asics must acknowledge this defect and provide a resolution. I demand a replacement or refund for this subpar product.
