On November 16, 2025, I purchased the ASICS GEL-NYC (invoice number 1-R-7-22127983, product code 1203A739-020). Within a short time, deformation developed in the inner lining of the right shoe. I wore the shoes on average five days a week for about 10 hours a day and noticed the issue on January 5, 2026.
Because of this issue, I returned the product to your Hilltown / Izmir store twice for inspection—first on January 7, 2026 (request no. 1-31006) and again on January 19, 2026 (request no. 1-31232). After both inspections, I was informed that there was no manufacturing defect, and the deformation that occurred in a shoe used for only two months was classified as user error.
During the inspection process, I was asked whether I removed the shoes while the laces were still tied, but I specifically stated that I did not use them that way. If the heel area and inner lining had been examined more carefully, it could have been objectively determined whether there was any compression related to improper use. Despite this, the issue was entirely attributed to user error, and my complaint was not resolved.
For a product that deformed in such a short time and has already been sent for inspection twice, I request that the review process be conducted again in a more detailed manner and that my shoes be evaluated as defective merchandise and replaced accordingly.
