ASICS Gel-Kayano Shoes Wear Out Too Fast Despite Normal Use

On January 19, 2025, I purchased a pair of ASICS Gel-Kayano running shoes from the ASICS Istinye İzmir store. I used the product under normal and regular conditions, with no misuse, impact, or excessive strain.
About seven months after purchasing the shoes, noticeable wear developed on the sole, along with deterioration in the upper material and stitching. I do not consider this level of deformation normal within such a short time—especially for a model marketed as one of the brand’s flagship products. A product that is promoted as durable and long-lasting should deliver that performance in real-world use, and failing to do so has caused both financial and personal frustration.
After experiencing this issue, I sent the product in for inspection, but my request for a replacement or refund was denied with the explanation of “customer error.” Since I used the shoes under completely normal conditions, I believe this assessment does not reflect reality and that the issue is related to the product’s durability and quality.
I expect ASICS to re-evaluate my product through a fair and impartial review, correct this unjust “customer error” conclusion, and resolve my complaint by approving either a replacement or a refund. This experience has significantly damaged my trust in the brand, and I request that responsibility be acknowledged and appropriate action be taken.
