ASICS Gel Contend 9 Torn Early And Returned With Additional Damage

In July 2025, I purchased ASICS Gel Contend 9 shoes from the Sportive store at Mall of Istanbul. Before even completing one year of use, the front part of the shoes tore. I only used them for daily wear and did not expose them to any impact, excessive force, or improper use.
On April 3, 2026, I returned the shoes to the same store for inspection, and my case was registered under number 5324*****68. Later, I received an SMS stating that the claim was rejected as “user error.” I do not accept this conclusion, as the issue clearly did not result from misuse.
Moreover, when I received my shoes back after the inspection, they had additional visible damage. Not only was my original issue unresolved, but the condition of the product worsened during the inspection process. When I spoke with store staff, I was again dismissed with the same generic “user error” explanation.
I am already a customer who uses multiple ASICS models, and this experience has caused serious dissatisfaction. I request that the inspection process for my Gel Contend 9 shoes be conducted again in a fair and impartial manner and that my product be replaced. I also want to state that I have escalated this matter to the Consumer Arbitration Committee due to the negative experience.
