Arçelik Dryer Not Drying Clothes - Replacement Request Rejected


On May 25, 2025, while running our Arçelik 700kt 7 kg dryer on a normal program in our home, a fire broke out from the machine and completely destroyed our house. This was the first time such an incident occurred, and the dryer was still under warranty. We immediately contacted Arçelik customer service and the authorized service center, but no action was taken for a long time; finally, an expert came in July 2025, and since then we have received no response. We have the fire department report, the expert’s report, and the technical inspection report in hand. We demand that this severe damage and loss be fully compensated, that an official response be given, and that our grievance be resolved urgently. We have also sent a formal notice to Arçelik through our lawyer (no 19264). After five months of suffering, it is disappointing that we have not been contacted, and we urge Arçelik to resolve this matter before it escalates into a lawsuit. Otherwise, we will pursue all legal remedies and share our experience publicly on social platforms.
