Apple Is Not Refunding My Subscription Fee
On September 28, 2025, I accidentally purchased a Facebook Business Max subscription through Apple on my device in Istanbul. The subscription fee was ₺7,399. However, I canceled it the same day, within just a few hours. This cancellation is clearly visible in the “Subscriptions” section. Despite submitting two separate refund requests to Apple, both of my requests were denied. I have never used this subscription and have no intention of using it. In the attached screenshot, you can see under the “split payment” section that the subscription was both purchased and canceled on the same day. I have contacted Apple Customer Service both in writing and over the phone. During the phone call, I was told that I was right, but that the refund could not be processed due to a “system-related issue.” In written communication, however, I only received a rejection message regarding my refund request. The payment was made with my Enpara credit card, and the amount has already been charged. My bank requires an official confirmation document from Apple stating that the refund has been accepted in order to process it. This is the first time I have ever encountered such a problem, and I am currently trying to reach all relevant authorities at Apple Turkey. I hereby request that the fee for this unused and canceled subscription be refunded to me as soon as possible.
