Apple App Store Charged Me $20 for a PicsArt Subscription I Did Not Approve
I am filing a complaint regarding a $20 annual PicsArt subscription charge made through the Apple App Store without my knowledge or authorization. I previously had a PicsArt subscription through a different account, but I did not receive any notification or approval request from either Apple or Ziraat Bank regarding this current transaction. After the three-day trial period ended, the charge was made directly to my card, and I only became aware of it after seeing a $20 transaction listed as APPLE.COM/BILL on my account. I normally keep my account and card disabled for digital purchases specifically to prevent unauthorized charges like this.
As soon as I noticed the charge, I contacted both the App Store and PicsArt, explained what had happened, and stated that I would not use this subscription and that the charge had been made without my knowledge or authorization. Despite this, I have not received any response so far, and the charged amount has not been refunded. Although I canceled the subscription through the app, it still shows as active until August 20, 2027, and I do not want to use this subscription.
I do not accept the renewal of a subscription or the $20 charge to my card without my explicit and clear approval or any warning or notification. I request that Apple and Ziraat Bank investigate this transaction, that the full $20 amount be refunded to me, and that the subscription be completely terminated.
