AnyDesk Charges $298.80 After Automatic Renewal Was Canceled
On July 19, 2025, I purchased a one-year Solo license through AnyDesk, and my license expired on July 19, 2026. I paid only for one year of service, did not want to renew it afterward, and canceled my license.
I specifically disabled automatic renewal through my subscription settings, and I also received an email clearly confirming that automatic renewal had been turned off. Despite this, without obtaining my consent and entirely without my knowledge or authorization, an invoice for $298.80, invoice number A22042043888, was issued for the July 19, 2026–July 19, 2027 period. I do not accept being charged an annual license fee for a service I have not used and do not intend to use.
I clearly stated multiple times, both from my personal and business email accounts and through the MyAnyDesk portals, that I did not want to renew my license and that the invoice should be canceled. Despite sending nearly 50 emails, I received only one response stating that the matter would be investigated and forwarded to the appropriate department. Other than that, none of my requests were answered. Nevertheless, this morning I received yet another payment reminder stating that I must pay the invoice or I would face a service interruption.
I have canceled my license, I am not currently using your service, and I do not want to use it in the future. I do not believe it is appropriate to renew a subscription without my consent and then repeatedly pressure me for payment. I demand that invoice A22042043888, in the amount of $298.80, be canceled immediately and that the related subscription on my account be permanently terminated.
