My PC Freezes Briefly on Startup – Possible Driver Update Issue (Ryzen 5 2600, RTX 2060)

April 13, 2024 11:54 AM17

Hello everyone,

Every time I start my PC, it freezes for a few seconds, as if a driver is updating in the background. While the freeze only lasts 1-2 seconds, it happens every time I turn on my computer, which is frustrating.

My system specs:

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600
GPU: RTX 2060
I suspect it might be a driver-related issue, but I’m not sure what’s causing it. If anyone has experienced a similar issue or knows a possible fix, I’d really appreciate your help.

If AMD or NVIDIA is aware of this problem, they should release a proper update to prevent these startup freezes. Any guidance would be helpful!
