Amazon Sent Me Used Philips EP5443/70 Espresso Machine

On June 9, 2024, I purchased a Philips EP5443/70 Fully Automatic Espresso Machine from Amazon, delivered within a day with Prime. However, upon receipt, it was evident that the product had been used. Suspicion arose when we noticed the opened plastic wrap of the user manuals. Further inspection revealed coffee residue along the coffee path. This was unexpected from Amazon. Upon requesting an exchange, we encountered a disappointing hurdle. Amazon, renowned for its Prime one-day delivery, imposes a 15-day exchange window, leaving consumers greatly inconvenienced. Don't be misled by Amazon Prime's swift delivery; the exchange process is far more cumbersome. And don't assume that products sold by Amazon won't arrive used. I made that assumption and was proven wrong.
