Amazon Canceled My OMO Detergent Order and Took Away My Points
On February 20, 2025, around 18:30-19:00, I logged into my Amazon.com.tr account from my mobile phone to purchase three OMO Active Fresh Color Liquid Detergents. After adding the products to my cart and proceeding to payment, I noticed the message "Don't forget your ₺100 points" and checked the box before continuing. I completed the payment using my credit card and confirmed the transaction through my bank. The site then prompted me to confirm the payment again, which I did, and I received a confirmation that my order was placed. However, when I checked my orders 10 minutes later, I couldn’t see the order, so I immediately called customer service. They told me that my order was canceled because the payment was not processed due to an incorrect credit card number. I explained that I had previously saved this credit card in the system and had even used it earlier that day for another purchase under order number 402-0723186-4606727, meaning I did not manually enter the card number. After reviewing the issue again, they told me to place a new order but that my ₺100 points would not be refunded. When I attempted to repurchase the items, I saw that the unit price had increased from ₺139 to ₺169, and my points were also gone. Amazon has caused me a loss in both aspects. I have been shopping with them for years, but this experience has shaken my trust.
