Amazon Account Inaccessible – Unauthorized Changes and Recovery Request
I have an Amazon.com account in the United States that I can no longer access. When I try to sign in, the system tells me I need to create a new account, even though I already have one and have used it in the past. I want to be able to see my past orders and, most importantly, I am worried about the security of my account and personal information. I have contacted Amazon Customer Service several times about this. At first they say they cannot find my account, but when the representative looks more closely they admit that I do have an account and tell me that my information appears to have been changed. I was told that a representative would call me back, but no one has ever called. Each time I call, I am told again that someone will follow up, but this never happens. They also refuse to provide any case number and tell me they do not create case numbers. My Amazon account is associated with the email address sriek**@gmail.com and the phone numbers 417‑664‑37** (cell) and 417‑286‑39** (landline). I request that Amazon restore my access to this existing account, investigate any possible unauthorized changes, secure my account, and give me a clear explanation of what has happened. I also expect a proper follow‑up, including a call back as promised and a written reference or case number so that I can track this issue.
