In 2022, believing Allianz Sigorta to be a large and trustworthy company, I purchased a traffic insurance policy with the number 0001-0210-54779063. However, after being involved in an accident on 19.09.2022, I ended up in court. The other party filed both material and moral compensation lawsuits, and the case was recently concluded. While I was relieved that the ordeal was finally over—having paid around ₺150,000 while the insurance company covered ₺700,000—Allianz Sigorta objected to the verdict. Because of their appeal, I’m now required by court procedure to also file an objection, but in order to do so, I must deposit ₺1.5 million. If I fail to pay, my salary and assets face seizure. Allianz, having the financial means, can object freely, yet it shows no concern for the financial burden placed on the policyholder. When I spoke with the company’s lawyer, he bluntly stated that his priority is the company’s interest and told me I should find a way to come up with the money through loans or borrowing. The insurance company I trusted to protect me has caused me the greatest distress. I regret choosing Allianz, and I strongly urge others to stay away for their own good.
