Allianz Delayed My Health Insurance Application and Raised Prices Unfairly

I've been a corporate & individual health insurance policyholder for 27 years, including the last 2 years w/supplementary health insurance. Given that my long-standing insurance company has been renewing my policy with significantly higher premiums in the last 2 years, despite my Lifetime Renewal Guarantee, 50% No Claim Bonus + 5% Family Discount, and no exclusions for any pre-existing conditions, I decided to contact Allianz to get a quote and compare policies before renewing. As my current policy was due to expire on Dec 10th, I contacted an Allianz agent on Nov 24th. They provided an initial offer on Nov 25th, stating that they would evaluate the LRG in 2026-27 and requested my transition information for a medical assessment. I shared my transition information on Nov 26th, and they initially indicated that they would exclude one condition due to perceived risk, only to later include it with a surcharge. When I expressed that I had no issues with this condition, they requested several older reports and results for a more detailed medical examination. In their second offer on Dec 5th, they excluded the condition they had previously planned to surcharge and introduced 2 new conditions, either for exclusion or a 20% surcharge, while also stating that they were providing the LRG. I requested a re-evaluation of the excluded/surcharged conditions and a change in the Network to reduce the price. They were finally able to get back to me on Dec 11th. Despite the delay being entirely their fault, the price had increased because the acceptance date had passed, and none of my requests had been met. My current policy had expired, and I was left uncovered, trusting Allianz. I compared all the offers shared with me from the initial application process and forwarded them to the agent along with my questions and requests, emphasizing that the delay was their fault and requesting that they send their final offer at the Nov 25th price to compensate for this. In the final offer I received on the evening of Dec 12th, they not only failed to apply the discount they had promised but also withdrew the LRG, stating that they would evaluate it in 2026-27, despite making no changes to the 3 conditions mentioned in the Dec 5th offer. This is unbelievable! I must say that I find this approach, which kept me waiting for 19 days and demonstrates a lack of professionalism and corporate responsibility from their incompetent employees, unacceptable. This is not befit Allianz at all!
