Water Leakage on TCL MT42X Kids Smartwatch
I set out on a determined quest to give my nephew a TCL MT42X kids smartwatch, believing it to be tough and water-resistant, ideal for an active child. I thought I had made an informed decision after scouring advice from stores such as Vatan Bilgisayar and Media Markt. However, disaster struck when water seeped into the device while my nephew was wearing it on his wrist, rendering it useless. Seeking assistance, I contacted the TCL-authorized service center, KVK, only to be astounded by their response. They claimed that sweat on the wrist was the source of the water damage and proposed a hefty repair fee of 2448.02 Turkish Lira for the mainboard and screen repairs. This demand was a cruel shock given the watch's price of around 2600 TL. I'm sharing my experience with the form number 2301412000, pleading for a resolution. Money does not come easily, and I advise everyone to avoid purchasing TCL products. The brand's arbitrary decisions are a clear betrayal of consumer trust. I humbly request that TCL Alcatel find a reasonable solution to this problem.
