Unable to Cancel Airbnb Reservation or Get Refund Due to Unreachable Host
I booked a reservation through Airbnb, but when I arrived at the provided address, I found out the previous owners had already vacated the property. No one was there, and all attempts to contact the host have gone unanswered. When I reached out to Airbnb support to explain the situation and request a refund, I was informed that a refund isn’t possible. This is incredibly frustrating, as I traveled all the way to the location only to find it unoccupied and the host unreachable. I believe it’s Airbnb’s responsibility to ensure that their listings are valid and that customers aren't left stranded. I urgently request Airbnb to resolve this and issue a full refund.
