Airbnb Charged Me for a Nonexistent Rental and Won’t Refund My Payment
I booked a property on Airbnb for December 31 to January 1, but when I arrived, I couldn’t get in. A huge “For Rent” sign was on the building, and no one answered the door despite me knocking repeatedly. I messaged the host, but they never responded. When I asked a nearby hotel, they informed me the building had been closed for 6-7 months, and others had faced the same issue. I was left stranded on New Year’s Eve, unable to access the property, and Airbnb has yet to refund me. Customer service won’t connect me to a representative, making this even more frustrating. Airbnb, I demand an immediate refund and accountability for this terrible experience!
