I Rented a 2-Month Airbnb in Istanbul and Faced Hygiene Issues With No Turkish Support

I rented an apartment in Istanbul through Airbnb for two months, and the experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The property was in terrible condition from the moment we arrived. The entire place was filthy, clearly not cleaned before our arrival. The toilet was leaking through the floor and dripping into the apartment below, leading to the downstairs neighbor coming up to complain.
We urgently tried to reach Airbnb customer support, but unfortunately, we were only connected with English-speaking agents who said they couldn’t offer assistance in Turkish. As a result, we were unable to explain our problems clearly and received no meaningful support from the platform.
This lack of local language support in a Turkish city is completely unacceptable, especially given the urgency and seriousness of the problem. Airbnb should ensure that localized support is available in every region they operate in. I am demanding an immediate investigation into the condition of the property and a full or partial refund for the unlivable state of the apartment.
