I Rented a 2-Month Airbnb in Istanbul but Can’t Get Help in Turkish for Ongoing Issues
I rented an apartment through Airbnb for a 2-month stay in Istanbul, Turkey, and I've encountered several problems with the property that urgently require attention. Unfortunately, the host has been completely unhelpful, and I’ve had to reach out to Airbnb for assistance. However, despite being in Turkey, Airbnb support only offers help in English, which makes resolving the issue extremely difficult and stressful for Turkish-speaking guests.
The situation is unacceptable—this is a local issue that requires immediate action, and yet no one on Airbnb’s support team is available to speak Turkish. I feel ignored and helpless. Airbnb promotes itself as a global platform, yet fails to offer localized support in a major tourist city like Istanbul.
I am urgently requesting that a Turkish-speaking customer service representative contacts me directly. I’m incredibly disappointed with how poorly Airbnb has handled this situation so far.
