When I first created my Airbnb account, I was under 18 years old, so my account was closed due to age restrictions. Now that I am of legal age, I verified my identity with my official ID, expecting to have full access restored. According to Airbnb's guidelines, the appeal process should take up to 7 days. However, I submitted my appeal on the 26th, and it has now been 9 days without any update or resolution.
This delay has caused significant frustration because I urgently need to book accommodation but cannot access my account. I have followed all the platform’s requirements, including providing valid identification, yet I am still locked out of my account with no clear communication from Airbnb support.
