Last year, I made a booking on Airbnb and paid nearly ₺20,000. However, I canceled it on the same day, expecting a full refund. Instead of processing the return, Airbnb told me, “You can use the credit next year around the same time.” I accepted that at the time, assuming they’d honor their word.
Now, a year later, I tried to use that credit and they’re refusing to honor the agreement, leaving me completely stranded. I’m not just disappointed—I feel completely scammed. I followed all the steps, canceled well within the acceptable window, and was even willing to take a rebooking instead of a refund. Yet now they won’t provide either.
This is unacceptable from a company as large as Airbnb. I demand that my ₺20,000 be refunded immediately. If this issue is not resolved soon, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action and file formal complaints. I expect an urgent and fair resolution.
