On December 13 at around 6:07 PM, I tried to make an accommodation reservation in Istanbul through Airbnb for the dates December 14–16. Even though I attempted the transaction three times, the system did not create any reservation, yet $1 was charged to my card each time, for a total of $3.
The message I received from my bank states that a $1.00 USD transaction was made on my card with Airbnb Inc. Despite this, no reservation appears in my Airbnb account, and I also did not receive any confirmation email.
Although no reservation was ever completed, I request that the total $3 charged to my card be refunded as soon as possible.
