Request Refund From Agoda

On 14 April 2026, I made an online payment of MYR 126.14 via bank transfer for a hotel reservation at Rica Hotel USJ 3, Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, through Agoda. The booking was supposed to be for check‑in on 1 May 2026 and check‑out on 3 May 2026, under Agoda Booking ID 1717823457. After the payment was processed, I received an email from Agoda stating that no booking was made because the process was not completed. However, the payment has already been deducted from my bank account. When I tried to check the situation through Agoda’s system by entering my booking reference ID in different enquiry sections, the system replied that there was no such booking reference ID. Since Agoda has taken the payment but no valid booking has been created, I request a full refund of MYR 126.14 to be processed back to my original payment method as soon as possible. I also ask for a clear written confirmation regarding the cancellation of this failed booking attempt and the refund process.
