Agoda Won’t Refund Full Charge for Unused Hotel Reservation
I made a reservation through the Agoda app with reservation number 623781775 for New Taksim Hotel, thinking I would be staying on February 2. I completed the booking on February 1 at around 9:48 PM. However, when I arrived at the hotel, I realized that my reservation was actually for February 9. Because of this incorrect date, I could not check in, and even though I did not stay at the hotel, $27 was charged to my card.
I reported the situation to both the hotel and Agoda, but no one helped and no solution was offered. Although I did not use the reservation and informed them of the mistake as soon as I became aware of it, I do not find it fair that the full amount was charged. I am requesting a full refund of the $27 that was charged to my card.
