Agoda Let Me Reserve a Hotel That Had Already Shut Down

I made a reservation through Agoda for Ortaköy Bellezza Hotel with check-in on June 12, 2026, and check-out on June 13, 2026. However, when I arrived at the hotel, I discovered that the hotel’s sign had been completely removed. The parking attendants at the location informed me that the hotel had permanently closed months ago. Despite this, Agoda still allows customers to book this property through its platform, which caused me significant inconvenience and financial loss.

As soon as I realized the situation, I attempted to contact Agoda via email, but I have not received any response so far. My reservation number is 1736795886. I am requesting a full refund of the amount I paid for this unusable accommodation and expect the refund to be processed as quickly as possible.

In addition, because a permanently closed hotel is still listed as an active property on Agoda, I am concerned that other travelers may experience the same problem. I urge Agoda to conduct the necessary verification checks immediately and remove this hotel from its system without further delay.
